A big bag of tricks for your iPhone’s camera.

Why we like it -- The app is a great way to inject life into photos you might otherwise delete, or make good photos into great ones. Sift through your photo library, select a random shot, and quickly apply one of 13 different special effects.

There’s no need to worry about ruining the original. When you’re testing different effects -- and even when you’ve found an effect you love -- the app preserves the original shot in the photo library.

Improvements we'd like to see -- Although CameraBag makes it easy to manipulate photos in your library, it would be nice to be able to take shots in specific modes, like fisheye or infrared, and skip the post-production step. More stable software would also be a plus, since the iPhone app unexpectedly shut down on several occasions. For $3, the iPad app should offer more effects.
