Village Halloween Parade, New York City
In its 44th year, the Village Halloween Parade in New York City is one of the biggest in the country. The mile-long event takes over Lower Manhattan every year. The parade showcases giant puppets, more than 50 bands, dancers and exotic costumes. Members of the public are welcome to march in the parade - as long as they’re wearing a costume, of course.
