Santa's North Pole Home is Worth How Much?
Thanks to a new listing on Zillow, we now know why Santa Claus only works one day a year.

When he’s not delivering presents to every child on Christmas Eve, Santa unwinds at his circa 1822 “toy-lover’s paradise” located on a 25-acre lot in the North Pole. The 2,500 square foot property, which includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms, has a Zestimate value of $710,559 and is one of the most valuable residential properties in the Arctic according to the real estate site.
“Santa’s home in the North Pole is one of the most famous homes in the world, so we’re thrilled it’s now on Zillow,” said Zillow Chief Marketing Officer Jeremy Wacksman. “Millions of kids are looking forward to a visit from Santa this year, and now they have the opportunity to virtually visit Santa’s house themselves.”

Unique to Santa’s log cabin in the woods is the sleigh parking garage, reindeer stables and a world-class toy workshop. There’s a fireplace for roasting chestnuts and a gourmet kitchen with a special oven featuring 12 different cookie settings. There’s also a master bedroom with sprawling mountain views and a quiet study where one would assume the “Naughty or Nice” list is created. Santa, being the savvy investor that he is, will be pleased to learn that after his renovation in 2013, Zillow forecasts that his home will appreciate 6.9 percent over the next year.

“Santa puts a lot of miles on his sleigh delivering gifts all over the country and we’re excited to partner with Zillow this holiday season to give families around the world a behind the scenes look at Santa’s home base,” said Preston Schlachter, spokesperson for NORAD Tracks Santa.
