What excites you the most about travel?
Going new places and doing new things. Not knowing what is going to happen next. And primarily, the chance to make an impact where I go.
What do you like the least about travel?
Packing my bags! There are so many things I need to carry vs. so many things I want to carry. I really hate having to make those choices.
What was your favorite travel adventure?
Working at a summer camp for 8 days with Native American children (ages 5-12) in Gallup, NM. It was very rewarding and humbling being with them. While there, I also zip-lined the Rockies, kayaked the Rio Grande and hiked in Red Rock State Park.
What do you like to do for fun?
Anything competitive (sports), anything outdoors. I love to fish, hunt, hike, kayak and ride my 4-wheeler and dirt bike. I love skiing and enjoy building and construction.
What is your guilty pleasure?
I love buying and riding ATVs. I have 4-wheelers, a dirt bike, a Polaris Ranger and a gas golf cart. I enjoy riding them on my family farm.
Why do you want to be the next Travel Channel Star?
Honestly, to make a difference, whether it be protecting an endangered species, building a classroom or digging a well — as long as it has a positive impact.
