Scream ‘N’ Stream, Oviedo, FL
The hit Halloween attraction is back again this year with an all-new take. Visitors are responsible for completing a secret mission amidst horrific apocalyptic scenes plagued by clowns and zombies, all from the safety of their car. Show writer Patrick Braillard told Spectrum News “We wanted to make sure that it was a story that you were part of.” Visitors will navigate a terrifying maze complete with audio and lighting effects while taking out undead enemies with laser guns. Tickets start at $47 (sold per car, not person), and a portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Second Harvest Foodbank. Patrons can also find various games, escape rooms, and dining options at the adjoining mall. The entire experience promises a night of spooky fun for the whole family.
Bloodshed Farms Drive-Thru, Columbus, NJ
Meander through scenes straight out of your worst nightmares. Bloodshed Farms provides an interactive, socially distanced drive-thru experience like no other. Promising “twisted creatures and menacing characters”, the attraction assures an immersive experience for all horror enthusiasts. Additionally, there will be several themed events including a pick-up truck and car costume night. Visitors are encouraged to make a stop at the nearby Columbus Farmers Market Complex to enjoy a wide range of seasonal offerings.
Granville Haunt Farm Drive-Thru, Oxford, NC
In 2020, after 6 years of annual thrills, the Granville Haunt Farm faced a new challenge: adapt or close. They opted to think outside the box and offer their patrons a chance to live out a horror flick from inside their vehicles. After booming success, they’re back with new thrills and chills. Pass through their massive drive-in movie screen to a real-life horror film! This year they will offer timed ticketing to avoid long lines and traffic jams that came along with last year’s hit attraction.
Scarizona Scaregrounds, Mesa, AZ
This attraction has something for everyone. The unique, theme-park style attraction will be operating several walk-through haunted houses (all with special guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19), a drive-in horror theatre, and a drive-through Halloween show. Attendees from previous years have raved about the costume design and special effects, many asserting they were “the scariest monsters and zombies I have ever seen”. This event is not recommended for children under the age of 12.
Haunted Drive, Cleveland, TX
Drive through 13 acres of sheer terror along the Haunted Drive. Featuring actors, special effects, and animatronics, the attraction promises entertainment from start to finish. Combo tickets are available for purchase that include a haunted corn maze, haunted houses for both children and adults, and trick-or-treating. Prepaid tickets are available for purchase to cut down on wait times.
The Haunted Road, Orlando, FL
Featuring an “original, twisted storyline”, this attraction offers a fresh take on traditional haunted houses. The 40-minute drive takes visitors through the actors’ strange experiences working along the purportedly haunted stretch of road. Special pull-offs allow guests to witness the hauntings for themselves. At the end of the road, motorists can stop at the outdoor Barnyard for food, drink, and pop-up live performances.
Dead End “The Apocalypse”, Halawa, HI
The terrifying product of over 100 different collaborators, Dead End 'The Apocalypse' provides a fright-filled drive. For roughly 20 minutes, visitors will navigate through 6 interactive scenes chock-full of demonic doctors, murderous monsters, and creepy clowns. Located at the Aloha Stadium, the Dead End Apocalypse experience allows guests to enjoy a fun Halloween tradition while staying safe and socially distanced.
