Postcard From The CMA Music Festival

Nashville, TN

Comedian, travel expert and reluctant daredevil Bert Kreischer recently traveled to Nashville to shoot an episode of his new Travel Channel show Trip Flip during the Country Music Awards Music Festival.

I went here to: Take travelers to the CMA Fan Fest and surrounding adventures.

The best way to travel here is: By plane- American Airlines preferably.

I stayed at: The Loew's right by Vanderbilt.

When it comes to packing: I am meticulous on the outbound flight and a mess on the return home.

The best thing I ate was: Fried chicken at Monell's.

I wish I hadn't: Eaten as much fried chicken and sweet tea at Monell's.

Next time I will definitely: Spend a day in Pigeon Forge.

My favorite part of the trip was: Seeing Hank Williams Jr. at LP Field.

My advice would be: Spend some time on Broadway and slide into a dive bar for some great music.
