The Bazaar at the SLS Hotel
Giada’s take: "It's another restaurant from Jose Andres, who has restaurants in Washington, D.C. Great traditional and modern Spanish tapas." The best dishes include Mediterranean mussels with olive oil, vinegar and pimentón; King Crab with raspberries and raspberry vinegar; and Delta Farm Green Asparagus with labneh and macadamia nuts.
The Blue Door at the Delano
Giada’s take: "The Delano Hotel is one of the grooviest and hippest hotels in South Beach. Have a mojito!" Some of the top dishes are the ceviche of the day, with red onions, cilantro, jalapeño and smoked salmon mousse; the salmon carpaccio with tapioca caviar, lemon, chives and olive oil; and the caramelized octopus with garlic, shallots, Dijon mustard and black olive potato salad.
Bartolotta at the Wynn Hotel
Giada’s take: "Fantastic place to stay." Some of the top dishes are the Cappesante Dorate Con Porcini with seared sea scallops, porcini mushrooms and parmigiano-reggiano; Gamberi E Cannellini with poached shrimp, cannellini beans, pomini tomato and basil; Insalata di carciofi with porcini, ruchetta e pecorino sardo–sautéed artichokes and porcini mushrooms, wilted arugula and Sardinian pecorino.
Salon De Ning at the Peninsula Hotel
Giada’s Take: "Spectacular view of the city." Best dishes include tuna sashimi and green papaya slaw with wasabi and pickled ginger; charred mango salsa with organic blue corn chips; and hummus and mixed olives with rustic bread crisps.
King Cole Bar at the St. Regis
Giada’s take: "Vibrant, classy." Best dishes include the Pacific or domestic oysters, littleneck clams with mignonette; and chicken kebab minced chicken with spice on sugar cane and tamarind mint sauce.
