Alabama

Head to Trattoria Centrale in Birmingham and try the BLT pizza.

Alaska

Pizza with a view? Yes, please. At Finn's Pizza in Homer you can sip a cold brew, eat wood-fire pizza and take in the gorgeous Alaskan landscape in their glass-enclosed dining area dubbed the "Solarium".

Arizona

Chris Bianco started Pizzeria Bianco inside the back corner of a neighborhood grocery store in 1988, and now Pizzeria Bianco has two locations in Phoenix that serves up his famous artisanal pizzas.

Arkansas

True to its name, Damgoode Pies is the pizza joint to check out in Arkansas. Head to one of their Little Rock or Fayetteville locations to try their famous pie The Stuffy Underdog.

California

With a mouthwatering menu, Pizzeria Mozza in Los Angeles is the brainchild of Mario Batali, Joe Bastianich and Nancy Silverton and a must-stop for pizza lovers.

Colorado

Pizzeria Locale is a staple in Colorado. Their 900-degree oven cooks delicious pizzas to perfection in two minutes.

Connecticut

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana is one of the oldest pizzerias in the country. Frank Pepe, an Italian immigrant, opened Pepe's, as it's known locally, in 1925, and it's still a family owned and operated establishment today. Head to one of their many Connecticut locations to try the very popular White Clam pizza.

Delaware

Check out Pizza By Elizabeths, an elegant dining spot in Greenville where all of the pizzas are named after famous Elizabeths past and present. Think Elizabeth Taylor, Saint Elizabeth and Elizabeth Arden.

Florida

In Miami Beach, Spris fires up tasty thin-crusted pizzas, with whole wheat and gluten-free offerings.

Georgia

Antico is the place to get pizza in Atlanta. One of the best parts about eating here is sitting at the community-style tables open to the kitchen where you can see (and smell!) the chefs firing up your delicious pizzas while you wait.

Hawaii

If you're looking for New York pizza in Hawaii, head to J.J. Dolan's in Honolulu.

Idaho

As the name suggests, Flying Pie Pizzaria serves pizzas that are "whirled" in the air, making their pies "whirld" famous. Head to one of their four Idaho locations to try them out for yourself.

Illinois

Pequod's Pizza is a Chicago staple that serves deep-dish pizza in cast-iron pans, sprinkled with mozzarella, creating a crispy, carmelized crust of cheese.

Indiana

Pizzology Craft Pizza & Pub prides itself on sourcing local, high-quality ingredients for the pizzas they serve. Make your way to either their Indianapolis or Carmel location and try the White Devil.

Iowa

Not your average pizza flavor, but Crab Rangoon from Fong's Pizza is a must-try in Des Moines. The dish pays homage to what was the city's oldest Chinese restaurant that formerly operated in Fong's existing location.

Kansas

Make your way to SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza in Kansas City for hand-spun, stone-fired pizzas with traditional toppings taken to a new level after they're roasted in herbed olive oil in its stone hearth ovens before they go on the pies. SPIN! also serves a variety of traditional thin-and-bubbly crust, rustic whole wheat and gluten-free pizzas. The dough is made fresh every day.

Kentucky

Award-winning Boombozz Pizza & Taphouse is a must-visit pizza spot in Louisville. When you go, try the Pollotate.

Louisiana

Pizza Delicious started in 2012 after two college roommates from New York bonded over a shared love of delicious pizza. Although this joint is fairly new, it's received praise from numerous local and national media outlets. Plan a road trip to New Orleans to try the deliciousness for yourself.

Maine

Otto Pizza started in Portland in 2009 and now has 12 locations across Maine and Massachusetts. One of their most popular pizza pies is "The Masher" with mashed potatoes, scallion and bacon.

Maryland

If you're in Maryland in search of great pizza, head to one of two Joe Squared locations in Baltimore. In addition to tasty square, thin-crust sourdough pizza, you'll also find live music and art displays at this pizza joint.

Massachusetts

Regina Pizzeria has been around since 1926 and now has 17 locations across New England. Stop in one of their locations to try the traditional pizza with a secret crust recipe dating back more than 80 years.

Michigan

Buddy's Rendevouz Pizzeria has served Detroit square Sicilian-style pizza for more than 70 years and now has 11 locations across metro Detroit.

Minnesota

Black Sheep Pizza is the place to get pizza in Minnesota, especially if you're a fan of coal-fired, crispy thin-crust pizza.

Mississippi

When in Mississippi, head to Soulshine Pizza Factory for live music and pies. The name of the restaurant was inspired by a song by The Allman Brothers Band. With three Mississippi locations, Soulshine now has two Tennessee locations as well.

Missouri

For quality pizza in Missouri, head to Pastaria in St. Louis. They also deliver through Food Pedaler.

Montana

When In Rome Pizzeria in Kalispell has an award-winning pizza called the Best Pizza Ever. It's made with pepperoni, roasted red peppers, onions, gorgonzola cheese and garlic.

Nebraska

Voted first place in Omaha Magazine's Best of Omaha, Zio's Pizzeria is the place to get pizza in Nebraska. Meat lovers, try the New York King pizza when you go.

Nevada

When in Las Vegas, hit up Pizza Rock, where award-winning pizza champion Tony Gemignani is the mastermind behind the deliciousness. Also, breakfast pizza is even on the menu.

New Hampshire

For pizza in New Hampshire, check out 900 Degrees in Manchester and try the Bella Cosa.

New Jersey

Tacconelli's Pizzeria in Maple Shade is where to get pizza in New Jersey. Their signature white pie is the way to go.

New Mexico

Amore Neapolitan Pizza is New Mexico's first and only certified Neapolitan Pizzeria. Head to one of their two Albuquerque locations for Italian-style pizza and New Mexican-style beer.

New York

There will most likely never be a consensus on one single favorite New York pizza spot, but that's okay because there's something for every palate imaginable. Roberta's Pizza in Brooklyn stands out for not only its tasty pizza pies but also its laid-back, neighborhood atmosphere. Roberta's delivers and you can find their frozen pizzas in select grocery stores and online retailers.

North Carolina

In Raleigh, Trophy Brewing & Pizza Co. offers a winning combo of great beer and great pizza. Their pizza menu features flavors like Most Outgoing, Most Loyal and Best Dressed.

North Dakota

In search of good pizza in North Dakota? Head to Rhombus Guys Pizza.

Ohio

Harvest Pizzeria sources fresh ingredients from local Ohio farms and creameries for its pizzas. Find multiple locations to satisfy your pizza cravings.

Oklahoma

Andolini's Pizzeria is a family business with a history tracing back to Naples, Italy. Try one of three Oklahoma locations or their food truck.

Oregon

Head to Dove Vivi for pizza in Portland. The crust is prepared by hand using organic cornmeal that is stone ground at Bob's Red Mill in Portland. When you go, try the pesto pizza.

Pennsylvania

Osteria in Philadelphia is a must-stop. Arugula, proscuitto and mozzarella create a winning combo in their Parma pizza.

Rhode Island

Al Forno has been serving wood-fired grilled pizzas to the people of Providence since 1980. Note that they're closed Sundays and Mondays.

South Carolina

Once a pizza stand at the Charleston Farmer's Market, EVO Pizza in North Charleston is where to get pizza in South Carolina. Try the popular Pistachio Pesto when you go.

South Dakota

From the same owners of the RedRossa Italian Grille in Pierre, RedRossa Napoli Pizza in Sioux Falls serves pizzas with dough made fresh daily. Try one of their traditional pizzas like The Italian or The Margherita or build your own.

Tennessee

What pairs well with great music? Great food! When in the "Music City", East Nashville to be exact, visit the hip Lockeland Table and try one of their wood-fired pizzas in flavors like LT Pig or the Woodstock.

Texas

For tasty pizza in Texas, make your way to one of two West Crust Artisan Pizza Pies locations and give the Hill Country pie, a thin-crust pizza with mozzarella and feta cheese, turkey bacon, red onion and glazed pecans, a try.

Utah

The Pie Pizzeria has five Utah locations and has been serving pies for more than 35 years. Try the Apocalyptdough, a signature pizza made with a spicy dough or the Wise Guy, a popular pick of locals.

Vermont

When in Vermont, pizza lovers will want to try the crispy, wood-fired pizzas at American Flatbread. Their pizzas are now available in grocery stores across the country, too.

Virginia

A short drive from Charlottesville, the original Crozet Pizza in Crozet has been a popular pizza spot for Virginia pizza lovers for more than 30 years. Now you can taste the pizza at a second location right in downtown Charlottesville, or C'ville as locals call it, too.

Washington

Delancey Pizza is a must-try if you're in Seattle. Delancey features fresh, locally-sourced ingredients for their pizzas and an inviting atmosphere.

West Virginia

With locations in Morgantown, Charleston and Fayetteville, Pies & Pints is known for its grape, yes grape, and gorgonzola pizza.

Wisconsin

Ian's Pizza started in Madison in 2001 after Ian envisioned a late-night, pizza-by-the-slice joint to cater to college kids. Now with locations in Madison, Milwaukee, Denver and Seattle, the Mac n' Cheese pizza is the all-time best seller.

Wyoming

Pizza Caldera in Jackson is a must-try for pizza in Wyoming. You can even buy their dough in 12 or 18 inches to take home with you.

Washington, D.C.

Using ingredients from the Campania region of Italy, the owners and certified pizza makers, or pizzaioli as they're known in Italy, Ettore and Maria Rusciano cook their pizzas to perfection in a wood-fired oven at 900 degrees at Menomale.
