Never again forget to pack the important stuff for your trip.

Why we like it -- In the last-minute crush of travel-planning, how many times have you forgotten a critical item for yourself or your children? Pack & Go Deluxe aims to solve that problem, and it succeeds nicely on most counts. The app supplies you with pre-filled lists of items for children and adults, and you can add notes to each item so you don’t pack the wrong stuffed animal or pajamas, for instance. You can also set alerts for things other than packing -- so you don’t forget to do laundry before the trip, for instance -- and Pack & Go’s alarm will sound even if you’re using another app.

Improvements we’d like to see -- The packing lists are comprehensive, but navigating the app can be confusing and illogical at times. Instead of being able to email yourself a list as soon as it’s created, for example, you can only email the list when you’ve checked off items you’ve packed. For $3, though, the app is worth the download.
