Meet The Friends Who Bond Over Paranormal Investigating
These nine groups of friends have been investigating the inexplicable together for years.
Shared paranormal experiences make for a bond that isn’t easily broken. Here are groups of best friends who share the screen on TRVL’s biggest hits.
The Ghost Brothers
Dalen Spratt, Juwan Mass and Marcus Harvey are three best friends who travel the country conducting paranormal investigations for their show The Ghost Brothers. Led by Spratt, the guys have investigated the most haunted places in America with the perfect amount of levity.
Zak Bagans and Aaron Goodwin
Gilles Mingasson
Zak Bagans and Aaron Goodwin met almost 20 years ago after Bagans moved from Michigan to Nevada. Their first big project together was a documentary about paranormal phenomena all around The Silver State. That documentary spawned the hit TRVL Channel series, Ghost Adventures as well as several spin-offs. Ghost Adventures is now in its 25th season.
Amy Allan and Steve Di Schiavi
They’re an unlikely duo who don’t even see one another that often, but they get in trouble for joking on set when they’re together. Allan and Di Schiavi are the investigators on The Dead Files, a show that combines Allan’s psychic abilities with Di Schiavi’s homicide investigation skills to solve paranormal mysteries.
Amy Bruni and Adam Berry
The Kindred Spirits co-hosts first met while working on another paranormal investigation show, but now they work together to help families understand who is haunting them and why.
Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings Team (AIMS)
John “Trapper” Tice, Willy McQuillian, and Jeff Headlee were already searching for the monsters of Appalachia long before they ever appeared on TRVL. They were later joined by Buck Lowe, Huckleberry Lott, and Wild Bill Neff. While Tice died in 2019, the rest of the team carries on his original mission — exploring the cryptids of Appalachia — on Mountain Monsters.
Dakota Laden and Tanner Wiseman
Before they hit TRVL’s air, these childhood best friends were creating content on Youtube. Now, Laden, Wiseman, Laden’s sister, Chelsea, and their camera-wielding friend Alex Schroeder lock themselves overnight in abandoned hospitals, shuttered prisons, and other creepy destinations in Destination Fear.
The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS)
Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson founded TAPS, the organization behind Ghost Hunters, in 1990. The two friends went on to make 11 seasons of the show that brought paranormal investigations onto the main stage of American television.
Jack, Ozzy, and Sharon Osbourne
Jack Osbourne recently jumped into paranormal investigation with the hit show Portals to Hell, but he also tries to convince his parents — rock star Ozzy Osbourne and talk show co-host Sharon Osbourne — that there is unexplainable supernatural activity all around us in The Osbournes Want To Believe.
Expedition Bigfoot
Discovery, Inc.
The fivesome who make up the Expedition Bigfoot team is very close after the weeks they’ve spent tracking the elusive monster through the forests of the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Mireya Mayor, Bryce Johnson, Russell Acord, Ronny LeBlanc, and Ryan Golembeske bring top-notch expertise and state-of-the-art equipment to remote locales as they search for Bigfoot.
