Journey Through The Clouds in Canada

Not ready to climb up the Canadian Rockies? Taking a luxurious train ride through the Canadian Rockies sounds like a nice compromise. Plan your adventure on the Rocky Mountaineer train between four and 14 days, and get an up close and personal look at some of Canada's most gorgeous and breathtaking scenery. The train has unique skylight roof that allows you to see all the beautiful views as you roll through in comfort.

Lazy Days Cycling in Ireland

A cycling trip might sound a bit overwhelming for many of us, but hold up: this is a "Lazy Days" cycling trip in lush Ireland. Visions of decadent lunch picnics and rolling countryside should already be dancing in your head. This is a six-night self-guided tour, so you can take things at your own pace. The terrain is not entirely flat, but it's also not hilly, so you're not going to be a sweaty mess when you get off your bike.

Costa Rica Wildlife Adventure

Dive into the beauty of Costa Rica with this fun expedition that treks through the country's lush jungles and rainforests. There's a zip-line activity sandwiched in there (which is totally optional), but there are also hot springs, waterfalls and wildlife, like this adorable baby sloth. This nine-day adventure is a National Geographic Tour and one of the many wonderful travel adventures they offer.

Discovery Danube River Tour

River cruises are not typically known to be very adventurous, but Avalon Waterways is looking to change that. They have a new class of cruises called "active discovery" that allow you to schedule some fun activities along the way. For their Danube River cruise, you can take an archery lesson, help a farmer in his apricot orchard or conduct an orchestra and compose your own waltz. If you can spring for a stateroom on the boat, you'll be treated to floor-to-ceiling windows so you can watch the spectacular scenery float by.

Provence Culinary Walking Tour

This six-day tour does include quite a bit of delicious food, but there's also some hiking involved, so we think it all balances out. Join this active culinary walking and hiking tour through the beautiful countryside of Provence, France. You'll visit vibrant farmer's markets, take a cooking class with a renowned local chef and hike through vineyards, picturesque villages and limestone hills. Be extra adventurous and eat everything — even if you're not exactly sure what it is.

Kayaking in Chile

This two-day kayaking adventure in South America is specifically designed with people who have no previous kayaking experience at all. You'll paddle your way down the Petrohue River with killer views of the Andes Mountains, bathe in hot springs, camp out at a farmhouse and see lots of wildlife along the way.

Driving on New Zealand's North Island

This self-driving tour in New Zealand's North Island is the most relaxing way to see this beautiful country. Along the self-paced drive, you'll see stunning beaches, go wine tasting in Hawkes Bay and check out the famous Hot Water Beach. Glamping in Todos Santos, Mexico

Camping may feel a bit scary to you. But glamping? That's another story altogether. Visit the beautiful surf town of Todos Santos, Mexico and get your glamp on. This nine-day adventure is one you won't soon forget. You can paddleboard, swim, surf or snorkel, see whales and sharks, or go bird watching. Best of all, you'll have a luxury glamping tent to go home to at the end of the day situated on a white, sandy beach.

Dog Sledding in Alaska

If you're visiting Alaska, your trip would not be complete without going on a dog-sledding adventure while you're there. You can embark on your sledding trip from several different cities throughout Alaska. Depending on the time of year, you can customize your outing. In the winter, you can ride along as the dogs pull your sled or go to "mushing school" to learn how to do it yourself.

"Snuba" in Belize

What is "snuba"? It's a combination of snorkeling and scuba but with none of the complicated training and dangers of deep diving typically associated with scuba. One of the most amazing spots to see underwater wildlife is Belize's Hoi Chan Marine Reserve. During this tour, you'll see coral reefs, sea creatures and plant life. Bring an underwater camera so you can document this unique adventure.

Botswana Adventure Safari

If you've never been on an African Safari before, it's time to fix that. This 10-day safari in Botswana and Zimbabwe takes you across a variety of terrains in pursuit of wild animals including lions, elephants, giraffe and leopards. You'll travel via land cruisers, canoes and on foot and stay in tented safari camps and lodges, sleeping under the stars. The trip will end at the majestic Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
