Mandarin Oriental, Miami

When pets check into Mandarin Oriental, Miami, they are given a keepsake golden collar tag to easily identify these special guests. Pampered pooch amenities include plush pet beds, dog-walking services and pet-friendly in-room dining menus.

The Mandarin Oriental, Miami, caters to pet lovers and their four-legged friends just as much as their human guests. A petcation on the beach is perfect year-round at the Mandarin, even at Christmas when the dogs dress up in festive attire.

Hotel Monaco, Portland

Ever wonder what is really going on in your pet’s head? Wonder no more when you stay at Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco in Portland. Once a month during peak and holiday travel seasons, pet psychic Deborah Romero is available to guests during the complimentary wine hour in the lobby,"to offer guests free insight to the thoughts, feelings and stresses of their pet’s life." Romero also offers reiki treatments for dogs, which can be booked as a follow up session, or reservations can be made for private readings via the hotel’s concierge (not covered by the hotel).

Onyx Hotel, Boston

This boutique hotel welcomes furry friends free of charge without size or weight restrictions. Your pet will be pampered with amenities such as dog-walking, dog-sitting, and for those pets who want to stay in, an in-room dining menu that includes an 8-oz sirloin with kibble, along with gourmet dog and cat food.

The Muse Hotel, New York City

At Kimpton’s The Muse Hotel in New York, pet-friendly offerings include a “Hers and Furs Pet-icure,” where owner and pet can indulge in a pedicure. Also offered is the “Pampered Pooch” package for the on-the-go pet, which includes: deluxe accommodations, a special canine concierge welcome from Ginger (director of pet relations at The Muse), road trip treats such as a "woof warrior" travel pack that includes a portable water bowl, organic bones and a $25 gas card.

Las Ventanas al Paraiso, Cabo San Lucas

Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a Rosewood Resort, in Cabo San Lucas caters to your jet-lagged furry friends, with stress-reducing neck massages and walks on the fine-sand beach by the resort staff. Designed especially for the resort, portable pet cabanas are available to so your pup can lounge in shady comfort at the beach or pool.

Palomar Hotel, San Francisco

The Palomar is a stylish boutique hotel in downtown San Francisco that has an open-arms policy toward pets -- almost any type and weight can stay for free. Guests can fill out a "Pet Preferences" card to ensure their pets get the most out of their stay. In the lobby, guests will be greeted by Maverick, the hotel's Director of Pet Relations, a friendly Labrador Retriever.

L'Ermitage Beverly Hills

L'Ermitage has the most impressive pet room service we've seen, but it is Beverly Hills after all. Pets can choose (with their owner's help) between Tuna Tartar, Fois Gras, Osetra Caviar with Hard Poached Eggs, among other lavish meals on the menu. And if Sparky doesn't do generic, don't worry; the hotel will have your brand of dog food on request.

Hotel Marlow, Boston

It's not all about the furry variety, when it comes to pet-friendly hotels. If you're looking for a quieter travel companion, you can request a goldfish to stay overnight with you at Hotel Marlow in Boston. The "Guppy Love" perk is offered at many of Kimpton's Hotels, and guests don't even have to worry about feeding their fish, as that is covered by the staff-on-hand daily.
