In addition to a great view of Ninh Van Bay, the Water Pool Villas at Six Senses have all the comforts of a modern resort, plus plunge pools to watch the sun set; direct water access for snorkeling; a personal butler at your beck and call; and a private deck for sunbathing. Wake up every morning with an outdoor shower, or soak in the bathtub as you watch dawn break over the bay. A secluded villa for couples looking for serenity — now that’s sexy.

Bellevue Syrene: Roccia Suite (Sorrento, Italy)

With its Italian charm and sweeping views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Bellevue Syrene lures lovers like the Sirens’ intoxicating singing in Homer’s Odyssey. Regardless, guests will be happy to check in to the hotel’s beautiful Roccia Suite, which has a canopy bed just a few feet from a heated hydro-massage pool in an ancient Roman cave. Pocono Palace: Champagne Tower Suite (East Stroudsburg, PA)

Not every couple wants an expensive trip to a luxurious resort; some prefer an affordable getaway at a budget-friendly hotel. We instantly thought of the Champagne Tower Suite at Pocono Palace. Yes, the accommodations may be cheesy, but the amenities are quite impressive, including a wood-burning fireplace, a heated, heart-shaped pool, a shower for 2, and a round, king-size bed below a ceiling lit like the stars twinkling in the midnight sky. Half the fun will be just trying to figure how to get into and out of the 7-foot Champagne glass whirlpool.

Gansevoort Turks & Caicos: Oceanfront Terrace Studio (Providenciales, Turks & Caicos)

Guests at the Gansevoort Turks & Caicos can go all out and rent more expensive rooms in the hotel, but we think the Oceanfront Terrace Studio is just as sexy as all the others. Enjoy the sprawling ocean view from the comfort of your bed, or open the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and step out onto the terrace. Private beachside dinners, the Exhale Mind Body Spa and the exclusive pool island pods are a few romantic hotel amenities to check out while staying here. After a long day coated in sunscreen, couples can head back to their room to lather up together in the oversize, glass-enclosed shower.
