1. Hippo Point
Location: Kenya
Rooms: 4 double rooms and 1 single
Restaurants: Food is included in the price of the stay and is coordinated with the chef.
Pool: Guests can use the pool at the nearby Tudor Hippo Point.
Other Features: The villa is a tall Kenyan Cypress-clad pagoda which is very unique. It offers amazing views of the area wildlife such as giraffes, zebras and herds of hippos. Fishing and estate game drives can be arranged on the property’s 600 acres of protected land.
Location: Kenya
Rooms: 3 different villas: cliff, garden and beach
Restaurants: Fresh seafood such as crab, prawns, lobster, octopus and fish are brought in daily. The food is very light with a Mediterranean influence. Oils, Parma ham and some cheeses are flown in weekly from Europe. The salads and fresh vegetables come daily from local farms and the fruit is handpicked from trees and bushes around the beach resort area of Diani. The owners will work to modify menus as needed.
Pool: The garden and beach villas share an infinity pool while the cliff villa has its own.
Other Features: The resort offers butlers and nannies if needed. They will arrange diving, massages, safaris and access to health and golf clubs.
3. The Palms
Location: Zanzibar, Tanzania
Rooms: 6 villas with bed, bath, living, dressing and extra rooms along with a terrace
Restaurants: The Plantation House is the restaurant bar where chefs prepare set meals that bring together the spices, fruits and flavors of the island.
Pool: Each villa has a private plunge pool and the resort has a larger pool with a bar.
Other Features: The resort also features a spa, surfing, sailing, a library, cooking classes and classes on Swahili and the history of the island.
4. Taj Exotica
Location: Maldives in the Indian Ocean

Restaurants: 24 Degrees is the all-day dining restaurant featuring a variety of international flavors from Pan-Asian to Continental specialities. It has a display kitchen that adds to the informal ambience. Guests can dine indoors or al fresco on the beach. There are also cellar dinners that can be arranged and castaway baskets that provide meals for on the go.

Rooms: Villas that sleep 2 to 13 people
Restaurants: The Grotto is a natural cave that has been transformed into a restaurant with a wine cellar and large fireplace. The Beach restaurant is an open-air space inspired by an ancient fisherman's shack. Private dining and meal baskets are also available.
Other Features: The resort also features a spa, hiking, hunting and horseback riding. The farm has cows, horses and boars, and allows guests to do berry-and apple-picking.
6. The Ishtar
Location: Jordan
Rooms: Rooms, suites and penthouse as well as royal villas and beach chalets
Restaurants: The resort has several restaurants. The Obelisk Restaurant features international and local fare laced with Asian fusion. It offers outdoor seating overlooking the Dead Sea. The Akkad Pool Grill offers sandwiches, salads, appetizers and desserts. Next, the Ashur Pizza & Grill serves a variety of Italian dishes. Lastly, The Codes presents Thai and Asian fusion cuisine in an outdoor atmosphere overlooking the Dead Sea.
Pool: There are several heated and non-heated pools including a lazy river, sunken pool, Ashur pool and the Akkad infinity pool.
Other Features: The resort also features a spa, fitness center, yoga classes, tennis court, beauty salon and kids club.
