Vegan Hotel Suite

The Hilton London Bankside has debuted the first-ever vegan hotel suite approved by the Vegan Society.

Check-In

A flagship London design hotel, the Hilton London Bankside has 292 modern guest rooms, including 25 bespoke Suites and one Penthouse apartment with private terrace as well as an Executive Lounge. The hotel's innovative vegan suite boasts nature-inspired, non-toxic and non animal-tested Method cleaning products. All linens are washed with environmentally-friendly detergent.

Sustainable Suite

Created in collaboration with the Vegan Society and with multi-sensory design experts Bompas & Parr, this London vegan-friendly hotel offers everything from a plant-based keycard, to eco-stationery and carpeting with the ethically-conscious traveller in mind.

Eco-Conscious Design

Everything from the carpets to the pillow options and mini-bar in the Hilton London Bankside's vegan suite have been sourced to create a boutique, luxurious and welcoming experience for the ethically-conscious traveller.

Plant-Based Decor

The headboard in the Hilton London Bankside vegan suite is made with Piñatex leather (a plant-based natural leather made with pineapple fiber) and is hand-embroidered by local embroidery artist Emily Potter.

Pillow Menu

Sleep easy with the plenitude of pillow options in the vegan suite at the Hilton London Bankside. Options include anti-bacterial, non-allergenic and environmentally-sourced materials to replace feather down. Guests can choose from options that include a buckwheat pillow made with 100 percent organic buckwheat hulls, a kapok pillow made from natural kapok, a millet pillow made with organic millet husks, an orthopedic memory foam pillow made with bamboo-shredded fiber along with an anti-allergy foam pillow, made with 100 percent recycled cluster polyester.

Smart Dining

Room service has also been revamped to complement the Hilton London Bankside's vegan suite. Vegan breakfast options include fruit juices, muesli, hummus and vegetables, potato hash, grilled Portobello mushroom and a scramble with avocado, meat-substitute Quorn and quinoa. Lunch options include cucumber salad, cauliflower steak and five-bean dhal.

Pineapple Power

The vegan suite at the Hilton London Bankside takes its interior design inspiration from the pineapple, a symbol of luxury and hospitality. Brought to South London by botanist John Tradescant in the 17th century, the pineapple is used as a design motif and as a material in the room. Materials in the suite use Piñatex, a natural leather made from the fruit’s cellulose fibers that have been extracted from its leaves.

Healthy Grazing

The vegan suite's mini bar offers a variety of locally-sourced, vegan treats including Graze protein powder, Naked fruit and nut snacks and Deliciously Ella energy balls in a variety of flavors.

Pampering Products

The vegan suite offers PRIJA ginseng products and essentials such as a shower cap, vanity and nail kit all made with recycled packaging.

All in the Details

The reinvigorating properties of ginseng are a major part of the PRIJA eco-friendly line of bath products, made with vegetable extracts.

Forward-Thinking Design

The eco-cotton carpeting in this vegan suite is soft and eco-friendly and the stone-grey flooring with a smart, distressed finish is made with 100 percent renewable and sustainable Moso Bamboo. The desk chair and pouffes in the suite are made from Piñatex leather and cushions.
