The 2019-2020 ski season is shaping up to be a great one, and this sampling of deals and discounts around the country can help you plan for a skiing and snowboarding adventure that won't leave you stoked but broke. Check midweek pricing for your favorite ski area, and often times ski areas offer discounts when booking rooms and lift tickets in advance online. Snowbird, Utah
Get a lift ticket at Snowbird in Utah for as little as $50 when you order online, and groups of 15 to 30 enjoy rates as low as $60.99 when ordering online in advance as well. Book four nights and get your fifth night free, and receive two adult lift tickets, transporation to and from the airport, and kids 12 and younger ski free. Alyeska Resort, Alaska
With an annual snowfall average of 669 inches, Alyeska Resort outside of Anchorage offers its Family Package that includes a one-night stay for two adults and up to three children, a $50 Dining Credit to use during your stay, and milk and cookies with turndown service. Other deals include the Perfect Fall Destination Season that sees weekday room rate for $106 through December 6.
Sugarbush Resort, Vermont
Vermont’s Sugarbush Resort’s Lodging Package gives you your fifth night free when you book four nights at the resort midweek, and enjoy up to 55-percent off lift tickets when you purchase online ahead of your arrival.
Purgatory Resort, Colorado

Sun Valley Resort, Idaho
At Sun Valley Resort, book by November 15, 2019, and enjoy up to 25 percent off lodging at Sun Valley Lodge and the Sun Valley Inn, plus get a free lift ticket for each night you stay. The offer is available for stays between Dec. 1-Dec. 22, 2019, and January 3 through the end of the 2020 ski season in April. Epic Pass holders receive 20 percent off at both properties as well. June Mountain, California
At June Mountain Ski Resort just east of Yosemite National Park kids 12 and younger ski free the entire season, with no black-out dates. Tickets are available for pick up at the ticket window with proof of age. For the rest of the family, purchase lift tickets online seven days in advance and receive 20 to 40 percent off multi-day ticket. June Mountain lift ticket are also good same day at sister property Mammoth, just a 20 minute drive away, so a full-day ticket at June can be used at both ski areas.
Big Sky Resort, Montana
Slopeside Huntley Lodge at Big Sky Resort in Montana opens with rates starting at $99 per night from Nov. 28 through Dec. 5, and remain at $99 weekdays through Dec. 25. Lift tickets at Big Sky will stay under $100 through mid-December, and 20 percent-off hotel deals and 30-percent off vacation rentals increase the savings this season. On average, 400 inches of power fall on more than 5,800 skiable acres at Big Sky in the Northern Rockies of southwest Montana between Bozeman and Yellowstone National Park. King Pine Lodge, New Hampshire
Every non-holiday Tuesday night during the winter season, King Pine Lodge in Madison, New Hampshire offers $10 Tuesday Night Deals (4p.m. to 9 p.m.). The offer includes $10 lift tickets, $10 rentals, $10 snowtubing (5 p.m. to 7 p.m.) and even a $10 Burger and Beer in the Trail's End Tavern.
Arizona Snowbowl
Save up to $70 per lift ticket when you buy in advance at Arizona Snowbowl near Flagstaff, starting at $29 each. Also get a free $15 gift certificate, and add beginner lessons or rentals for just $15 each. Valid for guests ages 11 to 69.
Steamboat Springs Resort, Colorado
At Steamboat Springs Resort in Colorado, receive 20 percent off lodging, lift tickets and group lessons when booked before November 30. Kids 12 and younger ski free with a guardian who purchases a five-day lift ticket, and also receive 15 percent off at the spa. Ski New Mexico
At Angel Fire Resort, book two nights and take 15 percent off your lodging. Kids six and younger ski and ride free, as do fifth graders with the completion of the 2019 Ski Free Form. Fly from Dallas or Austin to Taos and enjoy free shuttle service to Angel Fire. Stay at a participating lodging facility for three days and purchase a three-day lift ticket, and one child 12 and younger stays and skis or rides for free at Red River Ski & Summer Resort (pictured). Sipapu Ski & Summer Resort offers a range of deals including its First 3 Lessons Free package with the purchase of a full-day lift ticket, discounts on advanced online lift ticket purchases and free stays at Sipapu’s hotel or lodge with the purchase of a lift ticket. Book four weekday nights and receive your fifth night free at Taos Ski Valley, and Ski Santa Fe’s Peak Plus Card ($65, $75 after Nov. 18) takes $25 off of your full-day lift ticket with no blackout dates. College students get $5 off regular priced weekday tickets at Beech Mountain Resort in North Carolina, and students kindergarten through 12th grade ski and ride for only $15 Tuesday evenings. Every Wednesday is Men’s Night and Thursday’s are Ladies’ Night, when night skiing and boarding tickets are only $15.
Copper Mountain Resort, Colorado
Parents can enjoy après ski at Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado with Kids' Night Out. Kids' Night Out (KNO) is a free three-hour childcare service offered to parents on the condition that $30 per child is spent in any commercial outlet at the resort during the three hours that your children are in the program, Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
