What excites you the most about travel?

Uncertainty. You never know what you’re gonna find … as long as you keep your eyes open.

Where have you traveled?

To Prince Edward Island, Lithuania, Denmark and all over the USA with my family; to England, Greece, Scotland, France, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, and a USA road trip, as well as volunteering in Honduras and Uganda.

Share a stressful travel moment and how you reacted to it.

Driving myself and my roommate through Yellowstone National Park in a torrential hailstorm at night. I held my breath, put on calming music and tried not to show how terrified for our lives I was.

What skills do you find useful when traveling?

Great sense of direction, malleability, optimism and thorough planning skills.

What do you like to do for fun?

Go new places, try new food, test my limits, stay active, read, converse with everyone, drink coffee and MUSIC.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Wine + pizza + ice cream + a good book or movie all to myself.

I know my opinions while traveling are relevant, amusing and appreciated. It would be a long-lasting rush in my life and validate my views of the world.
