Season 2, Episode 11
Absolute Lap of Luxury
Jesse and Jennifer Leal have a large blended family of 4 kids and need a travel trailer with ample sleeping space for family vacations. The Leals arrive at Lazydays in Tampa where they meet RV expert Tracy Elliott. They're anxious to see what they can get with their $25,000 budget. Tracy takes the family to see the $29,000 2015 Crossroads Sunset Trail. The Leals like the swivel TV in the master bed area but Jennifer thinks the overall interior feels cramped. She also wasn't too impressed with the outdoor kitchen. Next Tracy takes the family to see the 2015 Keystone Passport Ultra Lite and their boys love the bunk bed room. Jennifer loves the kitchen and separate master bedroom. But the $30,000 cost of the Keystone may be a stretch for their budget.
Olu and Farran Burrell want a compact and luxurious RV suitable for their growing toddler. They arrive at Lazydays and meet up with RV expert Jason Brunner to see what options are available in their $120,000 budget. Jason takes the Burrell family to see the 2015 Winnebago Trend priced at $92,000. The moment they step inside the RV, Olu complains about the tight space, and Farran doesn't like the loft style bed. So Jason switches gears and shows them the 2015 Winnebago Via. Farran loves the dinette set and overall layout and Olu is surprised to see the comfortably sized bathroom. The only issue appears to be the budget-busting price tag of $145,000.
Dog lovers Colin and Amy Arnold are in the market for a coach large enough to have an office space and room for yoga routines. They've brought their two canines along to help pick a coach that fits their needs and their $350,000 budget. They're paired up with Lazydays RV expert Chris Mullis. First Chris shows the couple the 2015 Winnebago Tour priced at $396,000. Amy and Colin love the spacious interior and the "dog proof" couch. However, Amy isn't comfortable going that high over budget, so next Chris takes the couple to see the under-budget $315,000 2010 Monaco Dynasty. Overall they love the roomy interior and the hotel feel of the master bedroom. Unfortunately, the main living area doesn't have room for Colin's office space he needs to teach his online courses.
When RV expert Tracy Elliott decides to take a Leal-family vote to see which travel trailer is the favorite, the Keystone Passport Ultra Lite receives the loudest applause. Overall, it has the sleeping space and amenities they want, so Jesse and Jennifer agree to stretch the budget and purchase the Keystone. Olu and Farran Burrell love the interior of the Winnebago Via but aren't too keen on going over budget. In the end, the couple decides the Via is the best choice for sharing new memories and travel adventures with their daughter. Amy likes the price of the Monaco Dynasty, but Colin is pushing for the storage and living space the over-budget Winnebago Tour offers. After weighing the pros and cons the Arnolds agree that its better to take a financial hit and get everything they want and choose Winnebago Tour as their new home.
