Welcome to Ely

Strange Happenings
Mark has been the president of the Nevada Northern Railway for 18 years. When he first started working there he was told about a ghost named Bob. Naturally, he was skeptical, but then he had his first encounter with the spirit when he felt like he was being watched at his desk. He turned to see a face looking in on him from outside of the second-story window.
Witnesses Speak Out
Con says he was sitting on the steps of the engine when he saw a man in bib overalls and an engineer’s cap walk out of the locker room and into the machine shop with no lights on. (But there was no one there…)
Boiler Room Spirits
Lennox's most profound experience happened inside the machine shop. He was at the wash-up sink alone when the door to the boiler room flew open on one side of the room about 50 feet away.
Bizarre Sounds
Mike's first bizarre experience happened when he heard Engine 93 crossing Lackawanna Road. It’s a distinct sound — all employees know the rumblings the different engines make. But, he thought it was odd because the engine shouldn’t be there now. He walked outside to look and there was no train.
Solo Investigation
Kurt, an engineer, decided to investigate the place for himself. He says in the engine house and machine shop he feels like there’s a presence always watching him.
