The Painted Lady
Around 1881, the Painted Lady got its start as a saloon. The building’s also been a grocery store, then a brothel, then apartments — it seems like no one could stay longer than three or four weeks before moving out.
Wild, Wild West
This area was once the outskirts of Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was the red light district, a place for saloons, brothels and some tough cowboys looking for a fight. (Even Billy the Kid allegedly paid the Painted Lady a visit.)
Sinister Activity
All the illegal and sinister activities that took place inside this building have left a dark stain.
Physical Attacks
Today, the entire property is haunted. Witnesses have been attacked and pushed by an unseen force. A dark entity even physically attacked the owner’s dog, Murray, leaving behind an open wound.
The Owner
Jesse Herron felt compelled to buy the property back in 2014. He heard stories of Billy the Kid, buried money and ghosts, and he couldn’t resist. But the first night he slept in the building, he knew something was wrong.
Witnesses Speak Out
Leo and his wife Claudette have lived next door for over 50 years, and have always experienced dark energy from the property.
Paranormal Activity
Samantha, a medium, says there’s a heavy presence in the building that doesn’t want her in there.
Ghost Adventures Crew
The entire property is haunted by the ghosts of the past. What evidence will the crew dig up during their investigation? Don’t miss an all-new lockdown, this Thursday at 9|8c.
