Philadelphia's Beasts of the East
Josh Denny hits his hometown, Philadelphia, on a hunt for the city's most ginormous foods. First up is the Whale, a 14-pound bagel leviathan overflowing with smoked salmon and white fish salad at Spread Bagelry. Then, there's a 9-pound superhero sandwich that's a massive pile-up of bacon, pork and cheese at Jake's Sandwich Board. Topping it off is Car 23, a trolley-shaped loaf of French toast stuffed with berries and cream cheese at the Trolley Car Diner.
