About the Show
Paranormal investigator Dave Schrader, psychic medium Cindy Kaza, equipment expert Shane Pittman and researcher Gabe Roth investigate terrifyingly true hauntings from the recently discovered case files of America's first ghost hunter, Dr. Hans Holzer. Recognized as the "father of the paranormal," Holzer's four-decades-long exploration into disturbing hauntings like the Amityville Horror house spawned legions of supernatural enthusiasts, more than 120 books and even inspired Dan Aykroyd to write Ghostbusters. For the first time ever, Holzer's daughter, Alexandra Holzer, reopens her father's most captivating case files -- along with thousands of his documents, letters, photographs and hours of chilling audio-visual recordings from as early as the 1950s. Equipped with this treasure trove of paranormal knowledge and state-of-the-art technology, the team compares their findings with Holzer's to see if their modern research sheds new light on these half-century-old investigations.

Forever Home
SHORT DESCRIPTION: Dave, Cindy, and Shane re-open legendary ghost hunter Hans Holzer’s unusual case at the Howard Lodge, a stately manor in Maryland that possesses its former residents through haunting dreams. LONG DESCRIPTION: In 1969, Jaqueline Emery called Dr. Holzer out to investigate her home in Sykesville, Maryland, also known as the Howard Lodge, a Georgian mansion from the 1700s. She reported hearing a sick child breathing, seeing mists around the house, and feeling a presence on the second floor landing. Hans conducted his first investigation solo, but after a startling experience, he planned on returning with a medium to try and get to the bottom of the haunting. Unfortunately, when he tried to return, Jaqueline Emery changed her mind, deciding that she didn’t want him back at the house. She was happy with the haunting and felt no need for further investigation. Now, 50 years after Hans Holzer first encountered the spirits of Howard Lodge, his private case file is reopened, as paranormal investigator Dave Schrader, psychic medium Cindy Kaza, equipment specialist Shane Pittman — along with new insights from researcher Gabe Roth and Holzer’s own daughter, Alexandra — return to Sykesville to uncover the mysteries that Hans was prevented from solving. A new key to the mystery comes with the chilling discovery that multiple former residents of Howard Lodge have been haunted by non-stop dreams of the old house.
Ancient Evil
Hans visited Mystery Hill countless times throughout his storied career, yet he refused to discuss the dark truths buried on the site. The team ventures to New Hampshire to find out why he insisted on keeping his family far away from the haunted hilltop.
The Ghost That Got Away
The team reopens a case that eluded Hans for decades as they unlock the iron gates of a Virginia mansion for its first-ever paranormal investigation. They seek out the spirit of a young woman said to roam the grounds, weeping for her lost love.
Dead Calm
The team embarks on an investigation unlike any other aboard the completely empty and notoriously haunted Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA. They discover an unsettling presence Hans confronted in 1976 has risen to the surface, and it just may pull them under.
