Hotel Revisited: Triangle T Ranch
In episode 2 of season 2, Anthony traveled to Dragoon, AZ, to renovate the historic Triangle T Ranch in hopes of returning it back to its former glory days. In its heyday, the Triangle T Ranch hosted rich New York business tycoons and powerful Hollywood celebrities, including the Rockefellers, John Wayne and Steve McQueen.
As Anthony left the Triangle T, hotel owner Linda Kelly was battling just to break even, and she only had a few months before she would have to close the doors of this famous ranch for good.
Since Anthony’s visit, Linda has been taking his advice to heart about getting her guests outside to experience the beautiful surroundings of the property. Linda has scheduled an archery event, called the Triple Crown 3D Shoot, and volume is sure to pick up since spring is the hotel’s busiest season. During the filming of the show, Anthony informed Linda of the people on her staff who were not going to work out, and since then, those employees have all been let go. She also hired a great new cook, who adheres to the proper health codes.
Linda’s partner, Don, is spearheading the hotel’s new, redesigned website that now features online booking. Also, Cindy got the hotel nominated for the “Top 50 Ranches in the World” and came up with a new promotion idea: “Star in Your Own Western Movie.”
Future plans for the Triangle T include restoring the 3:10 to Yuma building to how it looked during the filming of the famous movie and expanding the trading post in the front office, so it can offer more clothing and souvenirs to hotel guests.
