New Shows on Travel Channel to Watch in March
It’s officially March, which means we’re one step closer to spring (*cheers*). But even if the weather does improve that doesn’t mean we’ll be spending less time with our Travel Channel favorites, right? Right.
With the return of Ghost Adventures and the start of some new adventures — looking at you Zimmern List and Legendary Locations — this month promises to be filled with all the sights, sounds and delicious food you can handle.
New Series:
The Zimmern List | Tuesday, March 13 at 9|8c
Think you know where to find the most mouthwatering egg sandwich in Los Angeles? What about where New Orleans is hiding its best po’ boy sandwich? Or where Austin’s authentic finger-licking brisket is dished out? Let Andrew Zimmern show you what you’ve been missing. Get ready to experience the world of food through the eyes (well, stomach) of the Bizarre foodie himself.
Legendary Locations | Wednesday, March 28 at 10|9c
Josh Gates has explored more than 100 countries for his Travel Channel series Expedition Unknown. His expeditions always include a jam-packed to-do list – drive something very bumpy, avoid snakes, find buried treasure – so there’s generally not much free time for deep dives into his destinations’ past beyond what the expedition calls for. In his new series Legendary Locations, Josh immerses himself in the stories and the secrets of some of the most awe-inspiring locales he’s visited around the world: the jungles of Mexico, a Trojan battlefield in Turkey, Transylvania’s Bran Castle (a replica of the castle described in Bram Stoker’s Dracula) and more.
New Episodes:
Ghost Adventures | Saturday, March 24 at 9|8c
Admit it: The Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum scares you a little bit. Oh, just us? The new season of Ghost Adventures continues with an investigation into the Los Angeles location of Ripley’s. Some of the artifacts on display might be *gulps* cursed, including an Egyptian mummy’s foot that dates back to 2,000 BC. Something spooky is afoot (get it?).
Sand Blasters | Sunday, March 11 at 5|4c
You’ve never seen sand sculptures quite like these. At San Diego’s Pacific Beach, host Dan Cortese brings together eight of the world’s top sand sculptors to build incredible creations out of 10 TONS of sand. Prepare to be wowed — and to see some sand explode.
So much more new TV is on the way this month, and you can see it all on our full schedule. Happy watching!
