Joseph “Rev Run” Simmons is a founding member and the front man of the hip-hop phenomenon group, Run-D.M.C., making him an iconic figure in music. Run-D.M.C. has sold tens of millions of records worldwide and is credited as a pioneer for bringing rap music into mainstream culture. An inductee of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the group has been named one of the all-time greatest artists by "Rolling Stone", MTV and VH1.

With his trademark sneakers and black tracksuits, Rev has become an international fashion influencer. He launched the shoe line, Run Athletics, in the fall of 2003 with his brother Russell Simmons, and it continues to be a fixture in department and athletic stores across the globe.

Rev and his wife, Justine, currently host Cooking Channel’s Rev Run’s Sunday Suppers. Previously, they starred in Rev Run’s Renovations, which aired on HGTV and DIY Network, and on MTV’s Run's House The popular MTV series set the groundwork for Take Back Your Family: A Challenge to America’s Parents (Gotham, 2008), which Rev co-authored with Justine. His latest book, Manology: Secrets of Your Man's Mind Revealed (Touchstone, 2014), is co-authored with Tyrese Gibson, became a New York Times Best Seller and has led to a series on OWN set to premiere in early 2016. with Rev’s six children. As a reality star and author, Rev has become one of America’s favorite fathers and a paragon of family values, humor and spirituality.

After spending years traveling the globe with band mates and friends, Rev is taking Justine and their youngest kids, Russy and Miley, on an unforgettable escapade.
